JSValley - Meet JavaScript developers in Belgium.
Want to be part of our community and learn more about the wonders of JavaScript? Check out the next event!
JSValleyAbout JSValley
JSValley organizes JavaScript events all around Belgium. We arrange multiple meetups each year in different locations (Leuven, Gent, Kontich, and so on) with exciting keynotes, refreshing drinks, and delicious food.
Our main goal is to build a JavaScript community that is a safe space to share knowledge. It's a great place to get to know other developers and gain more insights into JavaScript. Moreover, you can practice your public speaking skills as we offer our speaking slots to our community. So, let us know if you're interested in giving a talk.
We believe that as developers, we must constantly learn new things and follow up on the changes in the complex world of coding. Why do this alone when there are so many JavaScript experts in Belgium? Follow us on Instagram and LinkedIn or subscribe to our newsletter if you want to receive updates about upcoming events.

Looking to enhance your testing capabilities and add it to your workflow as a developer? Join us for an insightful session on one of the latest and most powerful tools in the market: Playwright. In this talk, we'll explore what Playwright is and how it differs from other testing frameworks like Cypress and Selenium. We'll also demonstrate how to set up and incorporate Playwright in your workflow for a more Test-Driven Development (TDD) approach. Whether you're a seasoned developer or just starting out, this talk is a must-attend to take your skills to the next level.
We are used to having separate repositories for each application type (web, Android and iOS). With React native emerging as a cross platform solution, we can have a single code base for all platforms. But how do we build components that look good and have a good UX across all platforms? This is where Tamagui comes in. Tamagui allows us to create a component library that can be used across all platforms and have a consistent look and feel. In this talk we will see how we can combine Tamagui, react native and NextJS to create a cross platform application.
